Custom 2 Story Tall Doors

Every now and again you get a project that seems impossibly cool and improbably challenging. When Scott received an inquiry from a client in India to produce 20 foot tall doors, the immediate concern was the wear the weather would have on two wooden doors in the humid city climate. He was surprised to learn that these massive 2 story tall doors were meant to serve inside the home, in a grand custom home being built completely to spec. What unfolded over the next 12 months was a challenging project that involved working with an architect and construction crew in India from Gabriel Schama Studios in California. In the end, Scott and Gabriel delivered a layered laser wood cut artwork at a scale never before seen in the industry.
